The role

As an Insight Designer, you will be working as part of a supportive and successful design team who have a passion for design and communication.

You will use your data visualisation skills and exceptional design sensibilities to develop and deliver outstanding employee insight reports, innovative communications and cutting-edge data visualisation designs – that really delight and make an impact.

About you

We’re looking for someone who can enhance our creative offering with heaps of design talent, great communication skills, a positive attitude and a desire to learn and develop.

You’ll be a thinking designer at heart, someone who is willing to ask questions, get under the skin of a data story, and can transform these ideas from raw concepts into the final product.

You’ll have a strong passion for beautifully crafted design, a love of typography and an acute eye for detail – nothing gets under your skin more than a rogue widow and a misaligned grid!

You will be driven, personable, motivated, enthusiastic and a genuine team player; confidence and passion are encouraged, but design egos must be left at the door.

A minimum of 3 years of agency experience is preferable. And you’ll be expected to have the usual exceptional working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Digital experience is a bonus, but not essential.

In return for your valued contribution, we’ll offer you the following benefits:

  • A competitive salary
  • Bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • Private health insurance (after a qualifying period)
  • Volunteering leave (after a qualifying period)
  • Company pension
  • Flexible benefits package including additional holiday purchase, cycle to work scheme, access to a wide range of high street discounts, car lease and financial loans and savings at preferential rates
  • After a qualifying period, you will be eligible to participate in our Share Investment Plan.

Sound like you?

We’d love to see both your CV and portfolio. Send us examples that showcase the best of your work – especially how you have brought challenging data stories to life through innovative, beautifully crafted design.

  • Location: York, North Yorkshire
  • Salary: competitive, DOE
