Ambitious? Creative? Talented? Ready for your next career challenge? Then be part of the best employee experience team in the business.
Due to continued growth, Karian and Box are looking for a Creative Designer to join our expanding York-based creative team. Come and be part of our fast-paced, growing employee engagement agency. If you’re a dynamic, enthusiastic and talented creative designer looking to accelerate your career to that next level, we’d love to hear from you.
Who are we?
Karian and Box is an employee engagement agency with a unique approach. We help our clients understand what motivates their employees and come up with innovative ways to make their businesses even better places to work.
We offer a full-spectrum approach to employee engagement: from collecting employee insights through annual surveys to creating great engagement strategies and programmes that create real change.
It’s an exciting time to join our business. As the leader in our field, we work with an expanding range of large, national and international brands including Burberry, Direct Line Group, Nationwide, HSBC, Aviva and The Co-operative.
We practise what we preach; as an employee-owned business, we value the hard work of our people which means you’d have the opportunity to share the rewards of our success.
We’re a people-focused business and your attitude matters more than anything else. We’re proud of our business and culture – and we’re proud that we’ve built our business based on strong client relationships, great talent and a shared instinct that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
As a Creative Designer, you will be working as part of a supportive and successful creative team who have a passion for design and communication.
You will bring your conceptual thinking and exceptional design sensibilities to develop and deliver outstanding employee communications, innovative engagement programmes and cutting-edge data visualisation designs that really make an impact.
We’re looking for someone who can enhance our creative offering with heaps of talent, great communication skills, a positive attitude and a desire to learn and develop.
You’ll be a thinking designer at heart and an ideas person who can transform those ideas from raw concepts through to the final product.
You’ll have a strong passion for beautifully crafted design with a keen eye for detail – nothing gets under your skin more than a rogue widow.
You will be driven, motivated, enthusiastic and a genuine team player; confidence and passion are encouraged, but design egos must be left at the door.
A minimum of 3 years of agency experience with great people skills and the usual good working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential. Digital experience is a bonus, but not essential.
In return for your valued contribution, we’ll offer you the following benefits:
- A competitive salary
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday per year
- Private health insurance (after a qualifying period)
- Volunteering leave (after a qualifying period)
- Company pension
- Flexible benefits package including additional holiday purchase, cycle to work scheme, access to a wide range of high street discounts, car lease and financial loans and savings at preferential rates
- After a qualifying period, you will be eligible to participate in our Share Investment Plan.
